When Metro Racine started, Jim Peterson felt that it was important to give his customers quality service and not quantity as other security competitors have. A vision that we continue today.
In December of 2006 Jim Peterson died from cardiac arrest. He was deeply morned by his entire staff.
While the company was in transition one of Jim's supervisors, a part-time police officer, purchased the company.
Since then we have added many qualified employees to our company and the numbers continue to grow.
Currently we employ 20 officers, most of which are armed and hold State of Wisconsin firearm and security permits.

Metro Racine Safety Enforcement was founded in November 2001 by Jim Peterson.
Jim found that there was a need for a security company that provided armed officers for every occasion. He also felt that armed security would be the trend in our area and nation.
Metro Racine's first office was located at 620 Lake Avenue in Racine. We are now located in the Elmwood Shopping Center on the South Side of Racine.
Metro is fully insured and far exceeds the minimum requirements for insurance required by the state of Wisconsin.
While on duty all metro officers are in constant contact via 2-way radio with our 24 hour dispatch center.
Officers also have direct access to a supervisor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
